Idea Submission Guidelines

What every team needs to present in the initial idea PPT. This is an idea-stage submission — no prototype, demo or working build is required at this point.

Idea submission deadline: 22nd September · Registration must be completed before submitting.

Your idea PPT should include:

  • Project name.
  • Team details (team name and all member names).
  • Selected track.
  • Problem being addressed.
  • Your project idea.
  • Proposed solution and how it works.
  • Basic technical architecture or workflow.
  • Technologies you plan to use.
  • What makes your approach different.

How your idea is judged

The panel is looking for clarity of the problem, originality of the idea, technical feasibility and real-world impact. The objective at this stage is to show that your team understands what it intends to build and how it will work.

You do not need to show build progress, a prototype or a demo — that comes later, during the mentoring period and the 24-hour on-campus build.

Ground rules

  • One idea submission per team.
  • Pick exactly one of the four tracks for your idea.
  • Use the official ASYNC'26 PPT template.
  • Keep the deck concise — clarity beats length.
  • Only registered teams are evaluated. Register before you submit.
